Claudia Hofmiller & José Manuel Contreras Segovia GbR was established in 2000. The object of the company is to perform translation services for the institutions and agencies of the European Union. In 2000 Claudia Hofmiller & José Manuel Contreras Segovia GbR signed a framework contract with the European Parliament. The main stipulation of this contract is the translation of documents into German from ten official EU languages.

In 2001 a framework contract was concluded between Claudia Hofmiller & José Manuel Contreras Segovia GbR and the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission (DGT). To date the focus of our work has been on translations from the subject areas law, economics and politics for the European Commission.
